The EAA Young Eagles program welcomes young people into the exciting world of aviation. Young Eagles was launched in 1992 to give interest to young people ages 8 to 17, an opportunity to go flying in a general aviation aircraft. The flights are offered free of charge through the generosity of EAA member volunteers. More than 1.7 million Young Eagles have enjoyed a flight through this program.
Chapter 818 sustains the program locally through our Young Eagles Coordinator, Doug Seward, and he may be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org. For complete details and Registration go to youngeaglesday.org .

ground support. Those of you hoping to actually fly kids should ensure your quals are up to date, espe-
cially the “protect youth” provisions (which are valid for three years). The link below outlines the require-
ments – any questions, contact myself or EAA head quarters.Looking forward to your support in the coming

This program is very similar to the Young Eagles Event, except the age
requirement is for adults 18 years and older. For further information, please
contact Doug Seward at the above email.
Hi Gents: earlier this evening I had the pleasure of presenting to Ken Davies and Cascade Aviation a Certificate of Appreciation for their support of our Young Eagles program at their Christmas party, held at Flyers restaurant at BVS. Great event and he assured us of their continued support in the future.
